Light celebrations of winter 2003.
The Linthouse Urban Village (LUV) project had previously
canvassed the local community for their opinion on what
kind of shops and facilities they would like to see
evolving in their neighbourhood.
This simple lighting installation carries the idea
forward and presents possible worlds.
Projections fill the windows of the shop, suggesting
uses for the space. Observers are invited to comment and
post a “LUV” letter through the shop letterbox.
The projection arrangement allows for real-time
life-sized images to move between both windows.
