Apocalypse, Theatre Cryptic, Tron 2006, Cork 2005, CCA Glasgow 2003

A multi-art form concert piece with music by Anthea Haddow and performed by Mark O’Keeffe.

Inspired by the heralding of seven angels in the Book of Revelation, Apocalypse is a forty-five minute multi media performance combining live music and electronics, real time video, movement and lighting. Technology plays an important role in the overall concept with all visuals being created live during the performance.

However it is Mark O’Keeffe’s extraordinary trumpet playing that is the focus of the work.
